Wine & Gourmet Taipei 2018 (WGT) will be held on July 20-22 at the Taipei World Trade Center III. New highlights of the exhibition include the first-time launch of the ‘Lamborghini’ series of licensed and co-brand products this year. These include a range of ‘flown-in’ showcases specially brought from Italy, a limited supply of old vintage Lamborghini wines released in Taiwan only, Lamborghini wine glasses, bottle openers, and the rare supercars of 2018 are also available for the first time at WGT. With the opportunity to become amongst the first to see these exclusive products up-close, WGT is not to be missed by all brand lovers. 

This year, Wine & Gourmet Taipei leads visitors to travel around the world without a plane! 
Over 2,000 wines from many famous breweries worldwide, well-known whiskies, brandy, craft beer and Japanese sake brands will be presented at the exhibition. Producers from Australia, South Africa, Spain, Japan and other countries have been specially invited to introduce their unique offerings for local wine lovers. These featured wineries invite everyone to taste the classic limited-edition wines that have yet to be marketed in Taiwan. The gourmet segment will feature Japanese beef, Spanish ham, handmade cheese, French baking, nuts and other food and wine combined selections that create a luxurious high-class dining. 

Enjoy a drink, savor a meal, and experience a thrilling tour of wine estates! A number of wine experts will deliver in-depth exchanges with the public on the spot, allowing everyone to understand the long history of wines, the brewing process and the stories of producers’ businesses. This year's ‘Wine and Taste’ masterclasses has a rich variety of themes; Master Chen Qianhao will share the award-winning story of Taiwan's Peach Wine; wine expert Wang Peng will take visitors through in-depth history of cognac, Bordeaux and Leoha and other fine wines. President of the Catalonia Biodynamic Law Association of Spain will share on ‘biodynamic law’ with stories depicting the fate of three generations across three centuries overcoming illness and the resurgence of the fire, while the owner of Can Suriol will introduce visitors to discover the great philosophy behind wines! In addition, the ‘Key to Proper Wine Serving’ seminar will be delivered by the Secretary of the Sommelier Association – this free course welcomes everyone to participate.

For visitors who wish to learn from experts on the best wines and how to identify their superior qualities, they can taste the award-winning ‘Annual Selection’ wines selected by professional sommeliers and try the top wines recommended by these experts. Don't miss the wine expert Wang Peng's ‘Drink Show Guide’ and "Liquor Library’, which allows you to choose wine for tasting and purchase. Also, don't miss the ‘Fourth Vino-Rich Wine Blind Drinks Competition’ on July 22nd for a glimpse of the blind drinking competition.
